Park Wood Golf Club are pleased to welcome Gary Wallis to the team.
Gary joined in October as the Pro Golfer and is a member of the Professional Golfers Association.
Gary has been working in the golf industry for a number of years having also worked overseas in New Zealand. Over recent years he has been working in the Surrey area.
He mainly concentrated on coaching and encouraging youngsters to the game, with his new position as Golf operations he will be turning his attention to membership, societies and the general running of the golf course.
His views on coaching are just ‘to keep it simple’. With so much technology to hand at the moment with YouTube and Sky Sports, he personally feels they are not showing us the perfect way to play the game just implementing that there are many different ways to achieve the same goal.
Gary recommends working on your swing path and your swing plane will look after itself. The harder you work at your game the more success you will achieve.
