Are you at the first stage of planning your big day? The first thing you have to think about is WHERE are you going to get married? There are a lot of factors to take into consideration when trying to find your Wedding venue. Remember, when you first see your potential Wedding Venue it will look very different on the day!

Style

Here at Park Wood we have gone for a modern approach across our three suites which allows you to have a classy day and evening and bring in your own touches! We are very lucky to have three huge suites which all have a private bar and outside area. We have in house decorations to glam up your day, making our space look even better!

There are plenty of options for the style of your venue and there are thousands out there, so it can be a little bit overwhelming to start off with. The first thing to consider is, are you going to go for something traditional or a space that’s a little more unusual? Our Wedding Planner will help you every step of the way.

Budget

Lots of venues offer promotions all year round. We are currently offering a HUGE £1,000 off wedding packages for 2020 and 2021!

Get an idea of your wedding budget, this obviously doesn’t need to be an itemised list at this point but a rough guide will help refine your search. There’s nothing worse than finding your perfect venue and realising it’s too small or too expensive. Have a good idea of guests before you begin your venue search, a lot of venues do per-head packages, so work out how much you’d like to spend on each of your nearest and dearest to get an estimate.

Catering

If you’d prefer to bring external catering then make sure the venue allows this. Whether you want to bring external catering, have the venue provide it or go ‘off-piste’ with some street food, choosing your catering is a pretty fun part of wedding planning. Think of all the tastings! We also offer a Dry Hire option which may be more suitable for your wedding! However, we also have a large variety of options for food within our Wedding Packages and our Head Chef Luciano would be more than happy to tailor one of our menus for your special day.
